IDEAS! enables Rich Authoring environment through Ephox EditLive! for Java 2.0

IDEAS! has established an OEM agreement with Ephox Corporation for the inclusion of EditLive! for Java as its primary Rich Authoring capability. EditLive! for Java’s advanced feature set allows for rich Web content to be created with ease. It offers a full range of rich text formatting capabilities, support for image insertion and uploading, and table creation and management support. Furthermore, content from Microsoft Word can be imported without needing to be reformatted and retaining all graphics.

With its cross platform support for authoring on Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X and Sun Solaris OE 8, EditLive! for Java can be accessed by users on a wide range of platforms. Furthermore, with internationalisation support for foreign languages and support for people with disabilities EditLive! for Java can be accessed and used by an extremely wide range of users.

Having released the Rich Authoring capability to our existing Microsoft platform partners, IDEAS! is now in the process of integrating this feature rich solution with its Lotus Domino platform.
